I did look into it, but the mainline project has been extensively refactored, which means I won't be doing it. The main other frequent request was to bring it up to the latest version of gzdoom. This doesn't affect the visuals, so this video is still relevant: I'm using the Doom WAD file that's included with Doom 3 BFG Edition. I'm on WMR, so vive/oculus may not behave correctly (should be fine though.) You might be able to dodge fireballs if you have space and move quickly enough (I don't and couldn't!). I also added room scale movement, so your movements in real life map into the game. It now supports analogue input and should have sensible default controls from install (delete your old ini file though). It's the time of year when programmers get a block of left-over holiday, so I've added a couple of the most frequently requested features to classic Doom VR. ![]()
